How To Make These 6 Different Types of Coffees
1. Moka Pot
Time: 5 mins
Type of grind required: Medium Grind
Resulting brew: Not quite an espresso shot, but close to it. Expect a sharp and strong tasting coffee. Easy, Potable, Quick and great flavor overall.
2. Cold Brew
(No equipment needed, only a cheese cloth for steeping the coffee in a jar of water)
Time: 16-20 hours
Type of grind required: Coarse Grind
Resulting brew: very smooth, strong and coffee with low-acidity.
Ratio of brew: 1:12 (100 grams of coffee steeped in 1.2 litre of water
Cold brew can be stored for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
3. French Press
Time: 7-10 mins (from boiling water, to brewing the coffee from 4-5 mins)
Type of grind required: Coarse Grind
Resulting brew: Unique, non-harsh aromatic coffee that’s full of flavor, depends on the selection of your beans.
4. Channi
(No equipment needed: Just like tea making, but better)
Time: 4-5 minutes and your brew will be ready.

Resulting brew: Stronger brew than a French press.
5. Espresso
Time: 20-30 minutes and your brew will be ready.

Resulting brew: depends on the espresso machine, the better the machine, the better the results.

6. South Indian/ Vietnamese filter
Time: 4-5 minutes and your brew will be ready.
Type of grind required: Medium to coarse grind
Resulting brew: No paper filters means the oils will pass through to the brew, much like a French press.
